Projects that reduce the use of waste to generate electrical power generation, and in our case, produce petrochemicals, and useful commodities.

First Generation WTE was simply burning waste and using the heat to create steam that turns turbines that generate electricity.

Second Generation captures and “scrubs” or cleans most of the air emissions.

Third Generation WTE projects use different technologies to address different kinds of waste. There are less emissions, it is more energy efficient, and requires less expensive hardware.   That is “Renewable Energy”.

Depending on composition of MSW, it can vary.  If small volume landfills are higher percentage in plastics than organics, the volume of MSW could be as low as 200 TPD with a high percentage of plastics such as 30%.
