TPS Landfill Solutions LLC comes from a long history of innovation in engineering. Its origins are in the company Texas Powerhouse Systems, which began as an engine services company to Caterpillar products in 1990. From those beginnings TPS diversified into power generation, partnering with local agents in different Latin American companies to build and operate electrical power generation plants.

Throughout its experience in Latin America, TPS executives came face to face with the common use of open-air landfills and the negative impact they have in communities and the surrounding environment. Utilizing available technologies, together with several TPS patent pending processes, TPS has devised alternatives that can classify and reuse all types of waste, while minimizing landfill impacts on the environment, all the while creating marketable & useful byproducts.
